Bass Guitar

 

Born in Fremont, Nebraska, raised in Denver, Colorado, Mike pursued football and basketball but his desire was music. He started playing electric guitar at age eight, switching to bass later on. Musical influence was Chicago. He played in different bands touring Colorado and surrounding states.

Mike moved back to Nebraska and married in 1978. He settled down in York, playing in a few bands before John and he decided to put Slingshot together. His dynamic bass stylings hold the band together.
